A band based in the city of Columbus, Ohio.
When “Kique” (Enrique Infante) decided to start a new band, after not playing
for quite sometime, he had a collection of unpublished songs, and was
determined to make them known.

Infante met Tino (Walthiño Casanova) in July of 2003, and they decided to build
a band, showed him the songs, and both agreed then on continuing with the
search for musicians. They put an ad in the newspaper and people started
calling. After some unsuccessful auditions, and after Enrique talked to some
other people, he met another musician, Victor Zancudo .
February of  2004 is the month in which the band get together for a first time with musicians from Perú, Venezuela, Colombia and United States.

Initially DEJAVU was a three pieces band. Now there are 9 members and depending on the event the band invite other qualified musicians.
DEJAVU first public appearance was at the Columbus Palace Theater before an audience of more than one thousand people.  Little by little, the band has been working hard to get a own style that now its very characteristic. A mix of Latin American rhythms like salsa, festejo and joropo with others like pop, rock and funk.

DEJAVU Latin fusion rhythms has been playing around in more than 150 different venues like outdoor festivals, workshops, bars, night clubs, radio stations, television programs, cultural events and private parties in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia states.
In February of 2006 they decided to go to visit Perú and at the same time record what it would be their first album ABRIENDO CAMINOS (Opening Paths). The process lasted three long months. Besides some DEJAVU members, other musicians from the Inca country, has participated in the recording. The album was mastered in New York City.

After receiving one thousand copies, the band started organizing the CD release party
For the Press and the public. The event took a place at the Columbus Music Hall on Saturday, November 11th of 2006 .

Enrique Infante – (music director, lead vocalist)
Member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) since 2007

Enrique Infante was born in Lima Perú in April 23rd 1972. He is a singer and songwriter and also plays guitar, drums, percussion and bass guitar. He co-wrote the music for a Children's theater Play "The Tree of the lost Orchard" on 1995 and a year later he went in a tour to Europe with Los Mojarras; a famous Peruvian fusion band that recorded the soundtrack for a movie "Anda corre y vuela" ("Go, Run, Fly") that won a first prize for a Third World Countries Film Festival in 1996 in Germany. On 1997 and part of 1998 he played guitar for a folk-Andean-fusion band named Pukakuntur ("Red Condor" in the native Inca language, Quechua) He moved to Columbus, Ohio by the end of the same year. 

In 2004, he formed his new project Dejavu, a Latin Fusion Rhythms band which whom recorded his first album "Abriendo Caminos" (“Opening Paths”) in 2006 in Lima Perú. That CD was released at the Columbus Music Hall on November 11th of the same year. 2007 and 2008 were years to promote his music with several concerts in and out of USA and also, paying tribute to many Latin-American artists. In 2009 he recorded his first Live Album at Old fields on High. Currently he is writing and recording new material for the second Dejavu studio album while he is still playing at many venues, festivals and private events in the Midwest with his band. His new studio album will be released on the summer of 2010.

Kimberly Hollingsworth – (vocalist, arranger)

Was born in Ciudad Ojeda, Zulia, Venezuela on November 16, 1982.  Her parents were both musicians and pushed for all her sibling as well as her to be very involved in music. Since ayoung age she began singing in her parent’s church for special occasions.  She tried learning several instruments but singing was always the one that she did best and so continued singing.  She has been singing lead vocals as well as background vocals through different Christian ministries in different states in the US including Texas, Oklahoma, New York, New Jersey, Ohio and others.  She has also toured around Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, and Uruguay ministering through music and teaching. She is presently a background vocalist for DeJavu Latin Fusion a band based in Columbus, Ohio. She brings her Venezuelan musical influence to the band.

Scott Gold - (bass, arranger, composer)

Son of musician parents; Mike Gold and Nancy Van.
Born in New York city on 1966. Start playing bass at age 11. Became 1st   call bass player
In Miami Florida at age 24. He performed with many artists some of which include; Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. Dean martin, Red Buttons, Tony Martin, Hal Linden, The Fifth Dimension, July Budd, Rita Moreno, among others.
Currently resides in Columbus, Ohio where he is a regular member of local bands as well as
Touring nationally with Grammy nominated smooth jazz artist David Wells.
